Return Policy

You may return your purchase for any reason within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding our shipping and handling costs. To request a return or cancellation, email returns@david-meyer.com Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Returned items must be in original, uninstalled condition, including packaging, warranty, instructions, etc. Cancellation of non-stock or custom orders such as orders with a lead time of over two weeks are subject to a minimum 20% cancellation/restocking fee and depending on the manufacturer’s policies, can be up to a 50% restocking fee. This can apply even before shipment of item, if cancellation is during the production time. In some cases, orders cannot be cancelled or returned per the manufacturer’s returns/cancellation policy. For example, living finishes or special finishes, such as Unlacquered or Gold finishes.

Requests for returns, exchanges or refunds must be made within 30 days of receipt and must have seller’s approval in the form of a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). We will not process any returns, exchanges or refunds without an RGA Number and buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, including but not limited to roundtrip shipping costs.

For all LTL shipments such as bath tubs, vanities, large mirrors, and more are non-returnable. In some cases, for custom made items, they are non-cancelable either. In the unlikely event that the item(s) arrive damaged or defective, please review our policies below. ALL LTL SHIPMENTS ARE DELIVERED CURBSIDE ONLY.

Any damage to the item(s) should be reported to David Meyer Showroom within 72 hours of receipt so we can assist you with getting a replacement. If the item has been installed, the manufacturer may not honor a replacement or return for the item. If the box appears even slightly damaged, please write “package damaged” when you sign for the delivery. If you accept the delivery without notating any damage to the product, you cannot return the product as damaged. If you cannot inspect the product upon delivery, please write: Pending inspection on the BOL when you sign.

If a returned item is received by David Meyer Showroom in a condition other than the one in which it was sent, a minimum restocking fee of 50%, plus original out bound shipping cost (even for items that are offered free shipping) will be deducted from the refund.

In the rare case of a missing or defective part, only a replacement or exchange will be made. There are no restocking fees on defective returns. Please note that we are not responsible for any labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation of wrong or defective parts. You must contact us to file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective shipper.

A 20% – 35% (for a couple of brands up to 60%) minimum restocking fee will be assessed for all refunded items. This fee is direct from the manufacturer.

Refunds will be made within 5-10 business days of arrival to our warehouse once the return has met these conditions. We retain the right to refuse any returns outside of these conditions.

Please refer to manufacturer’s terms and conditions as most take care of their own warranties. We will be glad to assist you with phone numbers or e-mail addresses if not enclosed with your items.

Orders with a total value below $99 may not meet the eligibility criteria for returns.

Computer monitors do not all display the same color scheme. Factors such as type of display, color/contrast settings, age of the monitor, lighting in the room and the angle the monitor is viewed at can distort the image’s natural color balance. Due to this, the slight color variance in some similarly named finishes from one manufacturer to the next and the possible change in a manufacturer’s finish over time, we cannot be responsible for items that aren’t a “perfect match” with items purchased previously or from another manufacturer.
